Pau Riera Serra
Doctor in Psychology
I am a psychologist (2015), with a Master’s in Neurosciences from the University of Barcelona and a degree in Research Design and Analysis in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2024, I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of the Balearic Islands with a thesis focused on the clinical and neurocognitive factors associated with the risk of suicide in individuals with major depressive disorder.
My research activity focuses on synthesizing evidence in the field of biomedicine and on the prevention of suicide risk in community and healthcare settings. My goal is to bring scientific evidence into real-world practice, improving mental health and promoting evidence-based suicide prevention programs.
