Maria Antònia Fiol de Roque

Primary Healthcare Researcher

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (2009) and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of the Balearic Islands (2017), as well as a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the Open University of Catalonia (2021).

My research career has focused on the field of biomedicine and health research. From a more basic research perspective, such as drug development and preclinical studies during my predoctoral stage, and from a more clinical perspective during my postdoctoral stage. Currently, I am dedicated to research in the areas of health services, patient safety, telemedicine, and health promotion.
