Ángel García Álvarez
Investigador predoctoral
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Salamanca (2007) and a specialization in Hospital Pharmacy (2013). Since 2021, I have been a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) by the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (USA).
I am currently a PhD student at the University of the Balearic Islands, where I am developing a thesis focused on the rational use of medications in older adults, particularly in the areas of deprescribing and therapeutic optimization. My areas of interest include patient safety, treatment appropriateness, drug evaluation, and policies promoting the rational use of medicines.
