On October 19, an outreach event was held at the Son Espases University Hospital, organized by members of the GRAPP-caIB and other research groups from the Balearic Islands Health Research Institute (IdISBa). The goal of this event was to present the main results of the project \u201cDevelopment and evaluation of a low intensity, multifaceted, digital health intervention to prevent type 2 diabetes mellitus in the primary care setting: the PREDIABETEXT study.<\/a>\u201d This study aims to prevent type 2 diabetes by promoting healthy lifestyles through the sending of SMS text messages. Participants in this study received text messages on their mobile phones for six months, providing information about healthy eating and physical activity. More than 50 participants attended the event, where they learned about the main results of the study directly from the researchers. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to share their experiences with the text messages and provide their opinions on the next steps in this line of research. <\/p>\n
